Going home…

My house is already empty, all my stuff started the long journey back to Holland and I will undertake the 10 hour drive next week. I am going home.It has been an interesting and crazy year here at Cern. Obviously it was different than we all expected due to the incident. Nevertheless it has been a great experience to live and breath in one of the biggest science centers in the world. It´s notjust that all our experts, the meetings and happenings are here. It is also a place where people come to visit and hear about science, where they can see awe inspiring detectors or just look at the crazy geeks who work here.

Apart from science: living has a very high standard here as well. Cern is in the middle of some of the most popular vacation areas. The (more…)
