Hetty’s portrait is the 3rd one I made for Pink Christmas. This is an ‘In Memoriam’ to Hetty’s partner Jet, who died two years ago - based on the song ‘As’, that Hetty wrote about recovering from the loss of her loved one. I admire Hetty for her courage and strength. She is not dislocated at all - but very happy to live in her street in Amsterdam, free to mourn the loss of her wife with whom she has two children.

Due to the political reforms and it’s membership of the EU Bulgary is changing fast - but still is not an easy place to live as a homosexual. Alex decided to dislocate to The Netherlands some years ago.
