Will be spending time with my loved ones, attending the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam, and working on a short documentary series… Next travel 3rd week of December - to New York and LA. Meanwhile - do you have any suggestions for places you think I should explore next year? Let me know!

Catch a glimpse of the heartwarming performance ‘Dance through the Fence’ here at the ArtTherapy festival.
The Allstar Refugee Band is based in Prague - with artists who came to the Czech Republic as immigrants and asylum seekers. In the clip you see performers from Armenia, China, Switzerland, Slovakia and America. I am in Slovakia for the ArtTherapy theatre festival. An hour from now, my film Cowboys in Kosovo is screening. Most artists performing here come from the Balkan and Eastern Europe. The plays deal with feelings of post war trauma and identity issues due to the overthrow of the communist regime, exactly 20 years ago. Yesterday, the main square in the Centre people were praying to commemorate the Gentle Revolution (internationally more known as the Velvet Revolution).

In the end I realised it was not for me, my marriage with my Italian wife ended, I decided to return home, leaving her and our daughter behind.’
